Yes! The app is free to download and all puzzle levels are available without any payment. The app is supported by non-intrusive advertisements which help us keep it free for everyone.

No internet connection is needed to play any of the puzzle levels. All levels are built directly into the app so you can enjoy it on airplanes, in the subway, camping — anywhere. Note that advertisements require a connection to display, but the game itself is fully offline.

Star Battle (also called Two Not Touch) is a logic puzzle. The grid is divided into colored regions. Your goal is to place exactly one star in each row, each column, and each colored region. The critical rule: no two stars may be adjacent to each other — not horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Every puzzle has exactly one unique solution reachable through pure logic.

Game progress is stored locally on your device. If you uninstalled the app, cleared app data, or switched to a new device, your progress will be lost. Unfortunately we do not currently have a cloud save feature. We recommend keeping the app installed and avoiding clearing app data to preserve your progress.

Coins are earned by solving puzzles. Harder puzzles award more coins. You can also earn bonus coins for completing a level without using hints. Coins can be used within the game for hints when you get stuck.

Try starting with rows, columns, or regions that have very few possible positions for a star. Use the elimination marker (✕) to mark cells you know can't have stars. Remember that any cell adjacent (including diagonally) to a star cannot have another star. If you're really stuck, use a coin to get a hint or tap on reveal answer!

First, try force-closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try restarting your device. Make sure your device's operating system is up to date. If the problem continues, please contact us with your device model, OS version, and a description of the issue so we can investigate.

At this time there is no in-app option to remove ads, as they support the free nature of the app. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings: on iOS go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, and on Android go to Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Yes, the puzzle content is suitable for all ages. Star Battle is an excellent brain-training game for kids, teens, and adults alike. Parents should be aware the app contains advertisements, and we recommend supervising younger children's use. The app is rated for ages 4+ on the App Store.

Absolutely! We are constantly working on new puzzles across all difficulty levels. Updates with new level packs are released periodically. Make sure to keep your app updated via the App Store or Google Play to get new content.
