This Privacy Policy describes how Star Battle ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Star Battle: Daily Logic Puzzle mobile application (the "App") on iOS and Android.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. If you create an account or sign in (including Sign in with Apple or Google), we receive your account identifier and, depending on the provider, your email address and display name. You may also play anonymously.
- Profile and social data. Display name, avatar selection, and friends you add for friends leaderboards.
- Support communications. Messages you send to our support email.
Information collected automatically
- Gameplay data. Puzzle progress, solve times, streaks, XP, achievements, quests, coins and hint usage, stored to sync your progress across devices and to power leaderboards.
- Device and usage data. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, crash logs and diagnostic events.
- Advertising identifiers. If you are shown ads (free tier only), our advertising partner may collect your device advertising ID subject to your platform-level consent settings (App Tracking Transparency on iOS; ads personalization settings on Android).
- Purchase data. When you buy Premium, purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive purchase receipts/tokens to verify and activate your entitlement on our servers. We never see your payment card details.
2. How we use information
- Operate the App: sync progress, run daily puzzles, streaks, quests and leaderboards.
- Verify purchases and manage Premium entitlements.
- Prevent cheating, fraud and abuse (our economy and leaderboards are validated server-side).
- Fix crashes and improve performance and gameplay balance.
- Show ads to free-tier users and measure their performance.
- Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party services
The App is built on the following service providers, which process data on our behalf:

4. Advertising and your choices
- iOS: we request permission via App Tracking Transparency before any cross-app tracking. You can decline, and you can change this any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization in your device settings.
- Remove ads entirely by purchasing Star Battle Premium.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account exists. Crash and analytics data are retained per our providers' standard retention periods. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data as described on our account deletion page, except records we must keep for legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes (e.g. purchase verification records).
6. Your rights
Depending on your location (including the EEA/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any right, contact us at the email below or use the in-app account deletion flow. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Children
The App is a logic-puzzle game intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored with our cloud providers under deny-by-default access rules. Game economy and purchases are validated server-side. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard measures.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
